Use this game to learn about how we group animals.
We have created two versions of this animal classification memory game. One is colour coded to help children remember which group the animals belong to.
Instructions:
Print out the boards and corresponding animal cards. Cut out the animal pictures, mix them up and place them face down in the middle.
Everybody chooses a board. You might need to take more than one.
Take it in turns to turn over the animals. If the animal belongs in the group on player's board, they keep the animal. If not, turn it back over and the next player takes their turn.
The winner is the player to fill their animal group board first.
