Simple Number Mats 1 to 10

 

You can use this set of simple number mats, featuring numbers 1 to 10, in many ways. Start by counting the dots, using a finger with youngest children. Then give children a pile of counters and help them count out the correct number, covering over the dots one by one. Or put them up on the wall as posters / reminders. You could also use them as beginner playdough mats. Laminate them and then ask the children to make the shape of the number with their playdough, the cover each dot with a blob, counting as they go.
