Simple and cute - here is a quick and easy Thanksgiving craft idea for younger kids! A whole "gobble" of these turkeys would look wonderful on display for the holidays. You could also cut two slits on either side of his head and use the turkey to hold a place card on the Thanksgiving table.
You will need:
Toilet roll
Brown paint
coloured paper
Scraps of white and yellow paper
Wiggle eyes
Glue
Instructions:
Paint your loo roll brown and leave to dry.
Cut a tiny arch shape from the scrap of white paper, as your turkeys beard. Glue this to the loo roll near the top. Cut a yellow triangular beak and glue this on top of the beard. Glue on the two eyes.
Cut four long ovals of coloured paper. Spread these in a fan shape and glue them to the bottom of the tube at the back to make a tail.
