11 Jesus was travelling to Jerusalem and was near the border between Samaria and Galilee. 12 As he entered a village, ten lepers, standing at a distance, 13 called out to him, "Jesus! Master! Please have mercy on us and heal us!"
14 When Jesus saw the lepers, he said, "Go and show yourselves to the priests." As they did so, they were healed. 15 One of them, when he realised that he had been healed, turned back and praised God loudly. 16 This man, a Samaritan, fell to the ground at Jesus' feet and thanked him.
17 Jesus asked, "Weren't ten men healed? Where are the other nine? 18 Why is this man, a foreigner, the only one who has come back to praise God?"
19 Then Jesus said to the man, "Get up off the ground, and go on your way. Your faith has healed you."
