This simple craft idea resulted from an experiment, with Sam dropping watered food colouring onto kitchen towel to see how the colours intermingled. We turned the result into some cloud "suncatchers" and put them on display on our window. You could adapt the craft with different colours and shapes.
You will need:
- Food colouring
- White kitchen roll
Instructions:
Water down the food colouring and drip on to the kitchen roll watching the colours run together.

When the paper is dry, cut out cloud shapes and tape to the window.
