When children are learning to read, the more fluent they become with the more common words, the quicker they can progress. We've been asked to put together some resources for the most common words, and we are building up a collection that I hope you find useful.
Choose from two versions of these fun high frequency word bookmarks - one with white backgrounds, and one in full colour (as seen below). There are 10 words on each of 10 bookmarks, ready to print and cut out. The US options have "mom" rather than "mum".
There are 10 pages in this printable, each with 10 of the top 100 high frequency words. We've designed them to be quick to slice up or cut out, and you can use them to help children get really familiar with these very common words.
This little fan is a useful way of keeping the top 100 high frequency reading words in one place! Just cut out the sections and punch holes in the bottom, then join together (preferably keeping them in order) with either a large split pin or a book ring.
