Here are three easy ways to make golden eggs - perhaps to accompany Jack in the Beanstalk, or at Easter.
Golden egg 1
You will need:
- Polystyrene egg
- Gold paint
- Gold glitter
Instructions:
Paint the egg, while the paint is still wet, sprinkle on some glitter. The easiest way to do this is to use a kebab skewer poked into the egg to hold the egg up.

Golden Egg 2
You will need:
- Card
- Gold tissue paper
- Glue
Instructions:
Cut an egg from card.
Rip up pieces of gold tissue paper and scrunch up. Glue on to the egg to decorate.

You will need:
- Gold card
- Gold decorative bits (we used gold string and glitter)
- Glue
Instructions:
Cut an egg from card.
Decorate with glitter and other golden decorative bits and pieces.
