Firecrackers Pencil Control

Here's a lovely curly rooster to trace over, getting lots of pencil control practice in the process. It's a fun (secret) way to improve handwriting skills too!

We've greyed out the outlines of these Chinese lanterns to make a pencil control activity for Spring Festival or Chinese New Year. Children can trace over the lines with the same or different colours, colour in and embellish the pictures.

The idea of this Chinese New Year pencil control worksheet featuring two pretty Chinese fans is that children should trace over the greyed out lines very carefully, deciding where to start and finish each line and varying colouring as they go if they wish.
