Felt Toy Elephant

This felt toy elephant is a fun sewing project for children which results in a very cute toy which they will be proud to display! The trunk is a little fiddly so it is best made by older kids.  You could use grey felt and leave off the blamket for a more traditional elephant.

Instructions:

Cut two elephant shapes from felt (use our template for help if you need it). Sew them together around the edge using running stitch. Leave a small gap to stuff the toy.

You may need to use a pencil or chopstick to help push the stuffing into the elephant. When the toy is full, sew up the gap.

Cut two ears from felt and glue these to your elephants head.
