We love these doodle pattern tiles because they encourage children to use their imaginations, practise their pen control and really get creative! Sometimes a full empty tile can be daunting, though, so we've divided this collection up into sections.

When you try an original "zentangle" you are asked to divide your square tile with "strings" or irregular lines. It can be a bit daunting for a child to do that, so we've done it for them on these two tiles!
These two Doodle Pattern Tiles look more like regular "zentangles" but with pre-drawn strings. That doesn't mean that kids are limited to doing tangle designs, though!
When the kids have finished filling up the different sections of these tiles with patterns, these Doodle Pattern Tiles will look very different! Older children can break the designs into more sections too, of course.

It's fun to fill up these zigzag designs with different doodle and patterns of your own - a perfect challenge for older kids! Younger children might like to colour each section with a different colour, trying to keep within the lines...
