This colourful activity is a great way for the kids to practise their drawing and concentrations skills, and learn about symmetry too. Count the pictures - all caterpillars and butterflies - and match to the right number card. Alternatively, fold the cards in half down the centre and glue back to back to form double-sided flash cards.
This set of 4 pages provides one half of a butterfly illustration and asks the children to complete the other half. It's an excellent way to practise symmetry, develop drawing and colouring skills, and learn about the anatomy of a butterfly too.
