Learn about mixing colours and create a pretty autumn display with this fun painting craft. We've lined up our leaves across a strip of card to make a display, but you could hang them in graduating order too.
You will need:
Yellow and red paint
Paper
Backing card
Instuctions:
Cut a selection of leaf shapes from paper.
Paint one leaf red and one leaf yellow.
Mix a small amount of red paint into the yellow and paint a leaf.
Sam has mixed up some orange paint
Mix a small amount of yellow paint into the red and paint a leaf.
Repeat the last two steps until the two pots of paint are nearly the same.
When the leaves are dry, glue them to the backing card, showing the change from one colour to the other.
