Recycle some cardboard tubes to make this fun Olympic rings craft with the children. Lots of fun, messy painting involved!
Our completed cardboard tube Olympic rings!
You will need:
5 cardboard tubes
Paint in red, green, black, yellow and blue
Glue
Instructions:
Paint each tube in a different colour and leave to dry.
Cut the tubes into 5 smaller rings (optional - you could keep the tubes whole if you prefer). Take a ring from each colour and glue them together to form the Olympic Rings.
This would make a good group craft. In groups of 5 have one child paint each tube and then share the pieces with others in the group. This could lead to discussions of Olympic values and importance of co-operation and friendship.
