What is not to love about bingo? It's simple for children to learn, can be adapted for any age group and number of children, and can be themed to tie in to your current topic or area of interest. You can also use Bingo as a learning tool in the classroom. These sets of bingo cards are great fun for classroom filler activities or for groups. We have all sorts of topics and holidays covered and more being added every so often.
Using our Bingo Cards
Why stop at playing bingo! There are so many ways to use our bingo cards. Here are just a few that we have come up with.
Memory Games: Print a few sets of cards - enough so that you have two of each picture. Cut them out and laminate, then play matching or memory games with them.
Match-up: Print two copies of one bingo card, and cut out the pictures of one to make mini cards. Your child simply matches the mini-cards by placing them in the correct spot on the full bingo card.
Find the Word: For many of these bingo cards we have Vocabulary Printables which include word cards or flash cards for all of the pictures. Print out the words - or write your own - and place them around the room. Cut out the pictures to make mini picture cards and put them in a pile. Invite the children to pick a card and then run as quickly as they can to the correct word.
Treasure Hunts: Cut out the pictures to make lots of mini cards and laminate them. Hide them around the house or garden, then give each child or team a list of pictures to find. Some of our newer packs of bingo cards (African Animals, Minibeasts, Sea Creature and Transport) include a ready-made page at the end of the pack that you could print for this.
There are 20 African animal bingo cards in this set and a page that includes a callers list and a set of all the images. If you wanted to play the game with only a few players you could print several pages of the set of images on card, cut them out and then mix them together.
