International Day of Families
The International Day of Families is celebrated on 15th May every year. It was created in 1993 by the UN General Assembly with the aim of raising awareness of issues relating to families, with a new theme each year.
The theme for 2024 is “Embracing Diversity, Strengthening Families”.
When we think of families we think of brothers and sisters, mums and dads and grandparents and aunties and uncles.
