Wearable Flags - T-Shirts

Kids can have great fun decorating a T-shirt for a national holiday, sporting event or just for fun - and you can use up some of your scrap bag too!

You will need:

Plain t-shirts
Ribbon, fabric, fabric paint and sequins in the colors of your country.
Fabric glue (older children may like to try sewing the design together)

Instructions:

Use the ribbon, fabric and other bits to make up your flag. You could do this on a rectangle of fabric and glue the completed flag to the top, or you could assemble the flag directly on to the t-shirts (we did this with the United States and Canadian T-shirts).
