Little children will love the cutting and
sticking involved in these home-made Valentine's Day cards, while older kids can let their creative
talents loose on picking the appropriate letters for their cards!
We cut the letters for the card on the right out of a newspaper
magazine. Try to find a variety of shapes and sizes, and have fun deciding
how to place them on the card before sticking down. Choose a bright
envelope to set off the card well.
The card on the right is simply an oversized heart cut from our pink
scrapbook paper, with a smaller heart cut from red card. Both are
stuck down with a small dab of school (PVA) glue. Don't make the heart so
large that the card won't fit into an envelope! These cards are very
effective, suitable for the youngest children, and quick to produce if you
need to make lots!
A pretty collection of our new printable jigsaws. These make a perfect
little classroom Valentine gift or even a fun way to send a secret
Valentine card - just write your message on the back before you cut the
Valentine up, and slip it in an envelope or resealable bag! Valentine Jigsaws To Print
