Pot up a heart!

We think this would make a super present for a mother or grandmother, especially if your child wrote a message on the back of their masterpiece or stuck on a small photo. Or make a large version filled with lots of hearts and use it as a table decoration.

You will need:
A small terracotta pot
Dried flower oasis, or playdough
Lolly sticks, straws or similar
A supply of hearts (see suggestions below)

Suggestions for hearts:

• Cut from decorative paper (you could use our valentine scrapbook papers)
  
• Cut from plain paper or card and encourage your child to decorate with colours, paints, glitter etc
  
• Cut from card and use tissue paper scrunches to decorate
  
• Print out some of our hearts and cut out your favourites

Instructions:

Fill the terracotta pot with oasis or playdough. Attach hearts to lolly sticks or straws with a small piece of sticky-tape, and arrange in the pot. Tie a ribbon around the pot if you like!
