Make Flag Badges
Use our flag printables or flag flashcards to make badges. Print, cut out and
either mount onto a badge back (from a craft shop) or attach a safety pin with a
small piece of sticky tape.

Hold A Boat Race
NEW!
Here are instructions for making some quick and easy boats which you
can dress up with any flag you like!
Make Classroom Flashcards
Our flag printables
come in three sizes, of which the large size is excellent for a classroom
flashcard. Print the first page, cut out one of the two flags, write the
name of the country on the back (together with some key facts, if you wish) and
laminate for durability.
Make Flashcards for the Home
We have a full set of small flag flashcards for the home. Print the first page
of flags onto card, then turn the card over and feed back into the printer so
that you can print the second page, with the names of the countries, on the
back. Continue for all the pairs of pages in the set.
Make Snap Cards
Print the full set of flag flashcards onto card, this time printing the country
names out separately. Cut out. Choose an appropriate number of countries for the
age of your child and find the matching pairs. Now shuffle together and play
snap.
Make A File Folder Game - Match Flag and Country
Print the full set of flag flashcards onto paper or card and cut out. Now
arrange the country cards on the inside of a file folder and stick down.
Laminate the flag cards and keep in an envelope or ziploc bag with the game.
This child should try to match the flag cards with the appropriate country card.
Make A File Folder Game - Match Flag To Continent
Print the flag flashcards (flags only or flags with country names on the back)
and cut out. Laminate and store in an envelope or ziploc bag. Now print and cut
out our Outline Maps of the Continents, perhaps
onto colored paper or card. Cut out roughly around the outline and paste onto
the inside pages of one or two file folders. The child much sort the flags onto
the appropriate continent.
Make A Flag Booklet
Buy or make your own booklet or exercise book. Print and cut out the flag pages
only from the flag flashcards set and paste one flag at the top of each page.
Write down the country that the flag belongs to, and find out some interesting
facts about that country to write in the booklet.
Make Stickers
Print the flag pages of the flag flashcards onto printer sticker paper and cut
out. Use to decorate your projects. Alternatively print one of the smallest
sizes of flags from our country flag printables and use for a patriotic event -
one for each child, perhaps, or to decorate the classroom?
Wave A Flag
Print our large or medium flags on to paper. Use sticky tape and attach them to
a popsicle (lolly) stick. These can then be waved, or stuck in the top of jello,
cakes or sandcastles.
Decorate Your Food And Drinks
Our smallest flags make great food decorations if attached to toothpicks! Or
attach to the top of a wooden skewer and use them as swizzle sticks in your
drinks.
Make Or Decorate Your Own Booklets
The medium and large flags make great booklet covers - perhaps for a project on
flags, a study of a country for geography, or for a patriotic occasion. Either
cut out and stick on to a bought booklet or use the flag as a template to cut
multiple sheets of paper for the inside of your book, and staple together.

Kit your teddies out as patriotic mascots!
