Quick, easy and fun for little kids, this handprint goldfish nevertheless looks effective on display! Of course you could make a whole school of fish this way for an underwater scene, too.
You will need:
Construction paper or card for background
Orange poster paint
Blue poster paint
Black pen
Instructions:
Cover your child's palm and fingers with orange paint and press a handprint sideways on the paper, thumb side down. Keep the thumb tucked close into the figures.
Dip the finger tips of the other, clean hand into blue paint and use them to finger print some bubbles.
When the paint is completely dry, use the black pen to draw on some wiggly lines for fins and an eye and wide-open mouth.
