Here is an original recipe for "fireworks" occasions such as Bonfire Night, Fourth of July and Canada Day.
You will need:
Chocolate finger biscuits
Small bowl of hot water
Small bowl of sugar strands (hundreds and thousands)
Greaseproof paper
Instructions:
Dip one end of a biscuit into the hot water and then into the sugar strands. Place on greaseproof paper and leave to set. Simple, quick and kids love them!

Here is a fun idea for an unusual fireworks picture using wax crayons. Younger children love to reveal the different colours as they scrape off the top, black layer.
