Caramel Banana Dip
This is very easy to whip up - but very special! Kids will
love to dip apple chunks into the caramel, so you can get two kinds of fruit
down them without a fuss. It makes an unusual desert, but is also good when the
kids get home from school and need a boost while telling you about their day and
getting ready for homework.
Ingredients:
1/2 cup pecan halves, chopped
1 medium banana, coarsely chopped
1 teaspoon lemon zest
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 (12 ounce) jar of hot caramel ice cream topping
Instructions:
Preheat the oven to 350F.
Chop the pecans and bananas. Put all the ingredients, except
the pecans, in mixing bowl and combine.
Pour the mixture into a small casserole dish, and sprinkle
pecans over the top. Bake for 10-12 minutes, until the top is bubbly.
Serve with butter cookies or apple wedges..
