Print out as many copies of the Butterfly Frame as you
need, preferably onto printer acetate (which you can buy in computer
shops, office stationery suppliers or some craft shops) or white printer
card. Cut loosely around the butterflies, leaving space above the
antennae to punch a small hole. Using clear thread (or fishing line),
tie the butterflies at various lengths to a wire coat hanger or two
crossed sticks - or just suspend them from your window frame.
Older children may like to add glitter to the butterflies
using white school glue, or decorate them with tiny beads or sequins.
This gives the butterflies a little extra weight, which makes the mobile
even more effective.
