Burglar Costume

This burglar costume is a fun fancy dress costume for kids at Halloween or all year round - and it is very easy to put together.

You will need:

Black T-shirt or sweatshirt
Black trousers, tights or leggings, or jeans
Trainers
Black woolly hat or head scarf
Black mask (buy a zorro-type mask or make your own with our template, black card and elastic or ribbon)
Black make-up (optional - for stubble!)
Swag bag (optional)

Kids can have fun creeping around in this robber costume! Make them look more authentic and sinister by smudging black make-up around their jaw line for stubble.

A swag bag is a must-have accessory for a burglar. Make one out of an old pillow case, or sew up a quick drawstring bag out of scraps of dark fabric. You can write SWAG on it in fabric paint, or stick felt letters on with fabric glue. If you don't want to sew, you can also use a large square of dark fabric and simple tie it up by all four corners.
