Did you know that World Lion Day is the 10th August? We've updated our lion worksheets so that you can get prepared for a lion project. 

Whether your child is starting school in September or you are starting your home education journey, there are lots of fun activities and games that you can play with them to help to prepare to learn to read.  

Will you be participating in the Summer Reading Challenge? You can sign up at any library for free. All the children need to do is to visit the library three times during the summer holidays and read six books.

I don’t know about you but we’re really feeling the pinch at the minute! So, I’m busy compiling a list of activities and ideas for things to do over the summer that won’t cost a lot of money.

We love learning about animals and often include animal studies in our home education. Here is a general plan of how we make sure that we are covering lots of different subject areas when we do an animal topic.
