Beanbag Shapes

This is a fun way to reinforce your child's knowledge of shapes, colours and numbers. Play with one child or a group.

Age: 3+

Draw and cut out some large shapes - a triangle, square, circle etc - out of colorful paper or plastic and place around the floor. Gather together some different colored beanbags.

Now call out instructions to your child or a group of children. For example:

Stand on a square

Throw your beanbag onto a circle

Hope on one leg

Find a green beanbag

Put it on your head

Turn around

Sit on a triangle

Throw your beanbag on the blue square

and so on.
