American Flag Printables

Our American Flag Printables have all sorts of uses in the classroom and home - and are perfect for decorating for Fourth of July celebrations and other patriotic occasions! We have lots of ideas below.

Stars and Stripes printable

We have some suggestions for using the Stars and Stripes printables here:

Use a tiny amount of white glue to attach the smallest sized flags to toothpicks, then use to decorate your Fourth of July cake or cupcakes!

Wrap cutlery in the large or medium sized flags. Stick around straws, onto paper drinking cups, or just scatter over your table cloth.

Use the flags as stickers to decorate your books or files

Print the flags onto transfer material using the reverse printing setting on your printer, then transfer to a T Shirt or other fabric.

Use the flags as covers for your own handmade Fourth of July booklets or photo albums. Print 2 copies onto lightweight card, cut paper to the same size or very slightly smaller, then staple or sew the edges together.

Print the medium or small size onto shrink plastic paper (you can buy this for your inkjet printer). Cut out carefully and shrink following the manufacturers' instructions. If you would like to use the flags as beads or otherwise string them, remember to punch a hole before you shrink them.

Use the medium or small versions as flashcards or game cards for your own patriotic home-made game!

Write clues on the back of a set of small flags and use them for a treasure hunt.
